About

Annie started her career as a Nursery Nurse, an NNEB after a career adviser explained that due to her socio-economic background that college was possibly not the best option but with the support of her parents began a career in Early Years. 

Annie started her degree studies, whilst working full time and having two children under the age of two.

She has since gained her Foundation Degree and her BA in Early Childhood Studies. Her Masters in Coaching and Mentoring and her PGCE plus QTLS, ATS and a Senior Fellowship HEA. Annie is currently studying for her Doctorate in Philosophy.

Annie's career began in Nursery and Reception, before running a 60 place Nursery and then becoming a HLTA in KS2.

She has also worked in enhanced and specialised provisions for children with SEN as well as working for the Speech and Language Service.

Annie is now an author, guest lecturer, external examiner and freelance consultant and founder of Reflect Connect.
